CardiAI™ is Developing Algorithms With The Help Of AI To Improve Patient Care And Health Outcomes

At our Artificial intelligence branch, we are developing technologies and health care solutions for more reliable and safer patient care. As the health care data is increasing, so is the burden on health care. We are developing an EMR to ease that burden with the help of ML algorithms and AI.
By collecting the patient data like echocardiograms, ultrasounds, MPI etc., from our diagnostic clinics, we are integrating AI to improve the efficacy and accuracy of diagnostics. We are utilizing many forms of ML to build these technologies to share them with the world.

CardiAI™ is collaborating with Amii to improve patient care and health outcomes by developing algorithms and using ml data.

Using AI-ML in Cardiac Nuclear Imaging

CardiAI™ is using AI-ML to recognize patterns or abnormalities in Cardiac nuclear imaging. We will be comparing healthy and non-healthy images that can help decision support for the experts.
Current approach is manual using image viewers of respective system. This will improve patient care and the algorithms may be able to identify slightest of anomalies accurately.

The Project is an Alberta Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Initiative supported by Amii and funded in part by Western Economic Diversification Canada.

Using Analytics in Holter monitor

We are trying to use analytics to detect pattern differentiation on the heart Holter monitor data. The Holter monitor is worn by patients for diagnostic purpose and detects heart rhythm at a regular interval or continuously. The idea is to either use analytics system to monitor the Holter data in real-time or run analytics on non-sync data once it is collected.
